Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic Therapy is the utilization of water to help improve your functional status. Physical therapists use the unique properties of water and specifically designed exercises to enhance, restore or maintain your functional ability. Water is a fun and engaging environment in which you can move freely and aides in your recovery process.
Aquatic Therapy is helpful for the following:

Dickinson County Healthcare System offers an Aquatic Therapy program. The program is prescribed by a physician and is monitored and facilitated by a PT/PTA. Classes are offered in the heated pool at the AmericInn in Norway, MI.
