Blood Pressure Monitor
The blood pressure monitor is usually worn if you are experiencing symptoms that could be caused by blood pressure problems or the control of your blood pressure. The monitor periodically (usually about every ½ hour) will automatically take your blood pressure and record it. At the end of the designated wear time, (typically 24 hours), you will be asked to return the monitor to the hospital. The recorded blood pressures will then be printed out for an interpreting physician to evaluate.
