• Event Monitor

    The Event Monitor is typically prescribed if you are having cardiac symptoms that occur infrequently or sporadically.  The Event Monitor is usually worn for 30 days but can be removed intermittently for short periods of time if needed (to shower, etc.) When a symptom is felt, you will be asked to press a button to record your heart’s EKG. By making a simple phone call after a recording has been made, the EKG tracing is sent, over the phone line, to the doctor for interpretation.
