Dickinson County Healthcare System employs Hospitalists of Northern Michigan to provide a high quality Hospitalist Program for inpatients of  Dickinson Memorial Hospital.  

Meet the Hospitalists of Northern Michigan:

When you are admitted to Dickinson Memorial Hospital, we are committed to your care.  We are doctors who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients and are in the hospital for you 24/7, 365 days a year.  Our unique knowledge of Hospital Medicine ensures our patients get the best possible care and have the best possible outcomes. 

Quality Care is our passion.  We are expert clinicians and experts in the special needs of hospitalized patients.  We recognize that entrusting your care to a provider you have not met may be a new experience, but you can be assured that the referring provider will give us a thorough overview of your condition and medical history.  One of our hospitalists will visit you daily during your hospital stay and will maintain close communication with your regular provider and family.  Upon discharge home, we will give a detailed report of your care to your primary care provider, and you and your family will be given thorough instructions regarding your home care.
