Image is Everything … especially when it refers to the diagnostic care provided by Dickinson Memorial Hospital.  The Radiology / Imaging Services Department has kept pace with advancing medical technology and offers a menu of premiere diagnostic services – from imaging to interventional procedures.  Board Certified radiologists are on site to provide expert and timely interpretation, and radiologic technologists have been nationally certified and registered in their respective specialties. 

Dickinson Memorial Hospital has received regular, ongoing national accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in all of the specialties for which accreditation is available, including:   Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, and Mammography.   ACR accreditation is your guarantee that you are receiving medical imaging services from the most qualified people using the most accurate equipment.  Medical imaging performed by unqualified providers may needlessly expose you to radiation or radiation levels that could be unduly hazardous.  It may also result in misdiagnosis or problems that are not diagnosed at all.
