MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN, ASCP
We currently have openings for a full time/part-time MT or MLT on rotating shifts, including weekend and holiday rotation. The qualified applicant should be ASCP certified or eligible as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
Benefits/Workers Compensation Coordinator
Implement, communicate and administer all Hospital Benefit Plans including the Health, Life, LTD/STD Insurance Programs; oversee all aspects of Workers Compensation, Unemployment Compensation and Leaves of Absence.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Business related field. Preference will be given to candidate with CEBS.
Three to five years Benefit Administration preferred.
The preferred employee must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; detail oriented and analytical; provide exemplary customer service with outstanding communication skills; utilize independent thinking and critical decision-making skills on a routine basis; have a general understanding of employment regulations.
Assists in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Functions as a member of the sterile team in creating and maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments to surgeons. Able to demonstrate a knowledge of disinfection and sterilization procedures.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from an accredited program for Surgical Technologist. 1-2 years experience in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Care Center. Certification preferred. BCLS within one month of hire or transfer.
Patient Financial Services Assistant
Performs clerical support functions during the billing and follow up phases of the accounts receivable process. Works closely with and substitutes for the Patient Representatives and the Cashier.
Process assigned accounts, identify and resolve complex billing and collection problems, track progress of assigned accounts until they are ultimately collected within established collection guidelines.
Cash Application Specialist
Accurately and efficiently prepare all third party and patient payments/adjustments to the appropriate patient account. Key cash /adjustment/charge batches, and patient demographics into the applicable computer programs. Reconcile batches and balances to bank deposits. Maintain files and perform clerical duties. Provide backup for the Switchboard Operator/Cashier.
Operates the telecommunication system to effectively and efficiently address internal and external phone traffic requests. Cordially receives and directs patients/visitors and provides routine hospital information when appropriate. Monitors the hospital alarm system. Performs billing support aide, clerical and data entry for different departments of the hospital.
High school diploma, previous office experience of one year desirable. Windows based computer experience including ability to pass OPAC Data Entry assessment testing at pre-determined levels. Must be available to work all shifts and rotating weekends.

Dietary Clerk (Part-Time)
Responsible for accurately assembling patient trays, delivering meals, receives and records dietary orders using Dietary Management System, assists patient with menu selection, cleaning and sanitation of soiled dishes, restocking and servicing cafeteria to include operation of cash register.
Environmental Services Aide

Obtains complete and correct patient demographic information and inputs that information in the Health Information Management system in accordance with all published guidelines as accurately and efficiently as possible with the main goal to optimize the satisfaction of the patient's experience from beginning to end.
Applicant must have current Michigan RN license, 1- 2 year recent hospital/acute care experience. This dynamic position provides staffing depth to various departments including ER/OB/Critical Care/Med/Surg/Peds. ACLS and Conscious Sedation preferred. Applicant should possess excellent critical thinking skills as well as sound customer service skills.

Senior Network Support Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to fill the role of a full-time Senior Network Support Analyst.
The successful candidate must have (5) five years experience in Desktop Support (Windows, MAC and Mobile Operating Systems), Software installation / setup, and Server/Network Support (Windows, Unix, Linux Server Operating Systems). Certificates in any of the following preferred but not required unless experience is not met. (MCSE, MCSA, A++, Network+, CCNA, CCNP, VCP, etc.).
This position provides networking products and services to all users within Dickinson County Healthcare System (DCHS). Network development, network software implementation, data security, network product support, system maintenance, system management, support for users of networked and non-networked personal computers, and user needs analysis. Setup/installation of major network components on LAN/WAN/WLAN - File Servers, AD, Routers, Enterprise WiFi, Switches, CSU/DSU's, Firewalls, Storage Area Networks, VMWare, Citrix, Enterprise Backups, Network Switching/Routing (IP and Fiber Channel), etc. Strong skills in Microsoft networking technologies and architecture (Active Directory, Exchange, Clustering, etc) and MSSQL also preferred.
The successful candidate must have played a leadership role in managing data networks and projects.
