IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. – Dickinson County Healthcare is proud to announce that Doug Copley has joined the organization as the Chief Information Security Officer.
Dickinson County Healthcare will benefit from Mr. Copley’s extensive healthcare cybersecurity experience. Copley is a security and privacy veteran with more than 25 years of experience in the data privacy, information security, and risk management fields. His prior work includes serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Beaumont Health and as founder of the Michigan Healthcare Cyber Security Council.
In his role as Chief Information Security Officer, Copley will help guide and protect the organization’s health information, ensure the organization is up to date with the latest cybersecurity best practices, provide security training to employees, and provide ongoing monitoring of DCH cybersecurity.

Doug Copley is a Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Privacy Professional, Certified Information Privacy Technologist and Certified Information Systems Auditor. He is the founder of Data Protection Partners, which provides fractional cybersecurity management and advisory services to businesses looking for deep expertise, but on a part-time basis.
