Good nutrition can positively impact our overall health and wellbeing.
It can be confusing to know what “good nutrition” is with all of the articles, books and product ads we see in the media today. Meeting with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is one of the best ways to ensure you are receiving evidence based nutrition advice.
Your health care is in good hands.
We are qualified to meet your needs. Becoming an RDN requires a Bachelor’s degree with many nutrition focused courses, completing a supervised practice program and passing the credentialing exam. Our Dietitians are members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) as well as the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
Benefits of seeing a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist:
RDN’s are health professionals dedicated to improving patient health through means of nutrition. They provide scientific research-based education and counseling to help manage or prevent various diseases and conditions. Dietitians create easy to follow plans that are personally tailored to you and your health goals.
Our nutrition services can help individuals with the following conditions:
High Blood Pressure
Weight Gain or Weight Loss
Food Allergies, Sensitivities or Intolerances
And much more…
A dietitian can help with additional diseases and conditions besides those listed above. Go to www.eatright.org and watch the video titled “What a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Can Do For You” to learn more.
Your journey to good nutrition and overall health is our goal. Come meet with us in our friendly, relaxed learning environment.
Meeting with a Dietitian can often be covered by insurance when being seen for certain conditions or preventative care.
Asking your doctor for a referral to meet with one of our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists can help get your visit covered. You should also contact your health insurance provider to ask what visits may be covered.
