Dickinson County Healthcare has been working diligently on a revitalized Emergency Department that will make every experience more comfortable and effective for all patients and their families.
With a complete renovation of over 10,000 sq. ft. of patient care area, the new Emergency Department will include private care rooms with breakaway glass, negative pressure treatment rooms, a respiratory care suite, and two new triage rooms. DCH approached the renovation with the community at the top of mind—using community surveys and staff input to prioritize needs.
Supported by advanced technologies, our emergency medical team is here you—our community—24/7/365. The team prioritizes you to provide private, individualized care for all emergency medical needs. When more advanced care is needed, our team will transport you to life-saving care at another health care system. If our team can’t get to you right away because of a more critical emergency, we’ll provide you with updates every 15 minutes.
At DCH, an entire team of doctors, nurses, and support staff are eager to help you, answer any questions you may have, and provide you with the kind and compassionate care you deserve.
The new Emergency Department will be fully operational in October 2021.
